Comments & Likes
headsta.sh is a community, not just a store. You can react to and discuss shaders and posts with nothing more than a signed-in account — no write access or karma threshold required.
Likes
Every shader/plugin page has a heart. Click it to like the shader and add it to your Favorites. You need to be signed in (logged out, the heart prompts you to sign in).
Liking a shader gives the author a point of karma; disliking one costs them a point. Un-liking or un-disliking reverses it.
Comments
You can comment in two places:
- On any shader/plugin — open the shader and use its Comments tab.
- On posts/updates — at the bottom of any article under Updates.
What you can do:
- Leave a comment (up to 2,000 characters) with the “Leave a comment…” box.
- Reply to any comment — threads nest, so conversations stay readable.
- Vote comments up or down to surface the helpful ones. Upvoting gives the comment’s author a point of karma; downvotes don’t affect it.
Requirements: just be signed in. Logged out, you’ll see a “Sign in to leave a comment” prompt. Commenting does not require write access — that’s only for publishing your own shaders.
Moderation & etiquette
- You can delete your own comments at any time (admins can too). Deleted comments show as
[deleted]. - Comments are moderated. Anything that breaks the rules may be removed (shown as
[removed]) and can affect your karma; repeated or serious violations can suspend your publishing access. Keep it constructive and you’ll never notice it.
