Your Account

A single free account unlocks everything on headsta.sh — favoriting plugins, buying and activating them, commenting, earning karma, and (once you have access) authoring and selling your own shaders. There’s no password to remember.

Signing in (and signing up)

Sign-in and sign-up are the same action — a passwordless magic link:

  1. Go to Sign in, enter your email, and complete the quick security check.
  2. Click Send sign-in link. We email you a link (it expires in 15 minutes — check spam if it doesn’t arrive).
  3. Open the link and you’re in. If your email is new, your account is created automatically.

That’s it. No password, no separate registration form. Your session is remembered on that browser until you sign out.

Your dashboard

Once signed in, your account shows:

  • Your display name, avatar initial, and “member since” date.
  • Your Karma — a running reputation score.
  • Quick stats: Favorites, Contributions (shaders you’ve published), and Comments.
  • A Karma activity feed of your recent reputation changes.
  • Your Contributions — the shaders/plugins you’ve created.

The left-hand account menu links to Dashboard, Profile, Favorites, Licenses, Orders, and Sell plugins.

Profile & settings

On Profile you can:

  • Edit your display name. (Your email is fixed — contact support to change it.)
  • Export your data — download a JSON file of your profile, orders, licenses, comments, and karma.
  • Delete your account (Danger Zone, type DELETE to confirm). When you delete: your licenses are revoked, your comments are kept but anonymized, and order records are retained for accounting. If you ever return with the same email, your karma is restored.

Your public profile

Everyone with an account has a public page at /u/<your-name>:

  • If you’re an author (see Selling Your Work), it shows your custom banner and a gallery of your published plugins.
  • Otherwise it shows your name and karma.

Only public fields are shown there — things like billing details are never exposed.

Favorites

Hit the heart on any shader to favorite it (you must be signed in). Your Favorites page collects them for quick access.
